Privacy policy

This policy explains what data we collect when you use Link. by Le Toucan, why, and what your rights are. It applies in accordance with Monegasque Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on the protection of personal data and, for people located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The data we process

Payments: they are processed by PayPal. We never receive or store your card numbers.
Statistics: visitors to the pages are not identified. We only record daily counters (for example “12 visits on 19 October”), without cookies and without keeping IP addresses.
Public content: the information you put on your page (including a contact e-mail or phone number) can be seen by anyone who views the page. These pages are not submitted to search engines.
Recipients
- Le Toucan, to run the service;
- PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (Luxembourg), for payments;
- IONOS, the website host, located in the European Union.
Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
Retention periods
- Account and page: for as long as the subscription lasts. When the subscription ends, the page goes offline; the account and page are deleted after 12 months without a new subscription, or earlier on request.
- Invoices and accounting data: for the legal retention period for accounting records.
- Statistics: as long as the page exists.
- Server logs: 12 months maximum.
Cookies
The website only uses cookies needed for it to work (login cookies for your account and a cookie remembering your language). It uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.
Your rights
You can at any time ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, or object to its processing. You can change most of your information yourself from your account.
To exercise your rights, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Autorité de Protection des Données Personnelles (APDP) in Monaco or, if you live in the European Union, with the authority in your country.
Security
The website is only accessible over a secure connection (HTTPS), passwords are encrypted and access to the administration is restricted.
